I’m Julian De Ridder - clinical hypnotherapist, breathwork facilitator, and creator of The Flow Method.

My mission is simple: to create powerful, grounded experiences that help people reconnect with themselves - to calm the noise, breathe deeper, and rediscover flow in both body and mind.

Over the years, I’ve guided hundreds of people through transformational hypnotherapy and breathwork journeys that restore calm, regulate the nervous system, and unlock genuine self-awareness.

Whether in my Tweed Heads studio, on the Gold Coast, or online, my approach blends evidence-based hypnosis with a spiritual understanding of rhythm, energy, and emotion.

It’s not about fixing what’s broken - it’s about remembering what’s been there all along.

The Flow Hypnosis Space

When you step into the space, you’ll feel it straight away - calm, grounded, and intentionally designed for release.
The light is soft, the air carries a hint of sage, and subtle tones play in the background - a steady rhythm that helps you arrive.

It’s not just a clinic. It’s a sanctuary - a place to exhale and begin again.
Every detail is chosen to help your nervous system recognise safety, stillness, and flow.

Before we begin, we sit and talk - exploring what’s here and what’s possible. From that point, the session becomes a journey: breath, rhythm, trance, and release.

You’ll feel your body begin to soften before any formal process begins - because safety always comes first.
We start with conversation, understanding what’s present for you, what feels heavy, and what’s shifting beneath it. From there, you’ll be guided through a blend of breathwork, rhythmic sound, and hypnotherapy.

It’s a deeply embodied process - the sound of drums and rattles creating rhythm, the breath creating movement, and hypnosis opening the subconscious for change.

Expect space. Expect stillness.
Expect to remember what it feels like to truly arrive.

Who this work is for?

 

Most of the people who come to see me aren’t “broken.”
They’re high-functioning, self-aware, but tired - tired of being in their head, tired of looping thoughts, tired of holding it all together.

They might feel:

  • Constant tension or tightness in the body.

  • A sense of overthinking or emotional burnout.

  • Waves of anxiety that don’t always make sense.

  • A gap between who they know they are - and how they’re showing up.​

They’re not looking for a quick fix or another “positive mindset” trick.
They’re looking for something real.
Something that gets underneath the noise - to the part of them that still remembers how to breathe, feel, and flow.

That’s where this work begins.

The Flow Method

 

The Flow Method integrates modern clinical hypnotherapy, breathwork, and sound therapy to bring the nervous system and subconscious mind into alignment.

It’s not about fixing or forcing - it’s about working with what’s already within you.

We move through four natural stages:

Awareness - understanding what’s happening beneath the surface.

Breath - regulating the body and reconnecting to rhythm.

Repatterning - shifting subconscious patterns and emotional responses.

Integration - grounding the change into everyday life.

Each session is experiential, grounded, and transformative - a space where science meets spirit, structure meets surrender, and you meet yourself again.

My Approach

My approach is simple - presence, process, and permission.
Each session is built around safety and awareness, blending clinical hypnotherapy, conscious breathwork, and sound-based regulation to bring your nervous system and subconscious back into alignment.

Rather than chasing symptoms, we work with the body’s intelligence. We explore what’s happening beneath the surface, reframe the patterns that hold you back, and create space for something new to emerge.

It’s not about effort. It’s about allowing.
Allowing your system to unwind, your breath to deepen, and your mind to remember its natural rhythm.

My Values

Presence - Real healing happens when you’re met where you are, not where you think you should be.

Integrity - Every practice I use is grounded in experience, evidence, and authenticity. No performance, no pretence - just honest work that works.

Safety - The body leads the way. Change only lasts when the nervous system feels secure enough to receive it.

Transformation - True growth isn’t about becoming someone else; it’s about remembering who you already are beneath the noise.

Flow - When mind, body, and breath move together, life feels lighter, steadier, and deeply alive.

A bit about me

 

Outside the work, I’m just a guy who loves quality time with family, and spending time doing things

that light me up. I enjoy coffee, chess, boxing and camping trips.

I’m a fan of simple living, deep conversations, and real connection.
I believe in doing work that feels aligned, spending time in nature, and not taking life too seriously.

Flow isn’t just something I teach - it’s how I try to live.
It’s how I parent, create, rest, and move through the world.
